Soccer, we all agree, is a beautiful game. It brings out unbelievable passion and heralds a level of connection between players, teams and fans that no sports can replicate. It is the world's game. It showcases the best talents (established and emergent) at the local, club, amateur, professional and international level.   It's always great to play the sports at any age especially at an advanced age when most folks are reticent to play because of fear of injury. While there are so many opportunities for youth players to engage in the sports (at recreational and competitive level), there's a dearth of good quality opportunities for adults to play and enjoy the beautiful game without being entangled in bureaucratic mess. This is primarily the reason for the creation of the Gorges Classic soccer tournaments. We seek to provide a forum for adult players regardless of affiliation or background to come and engage in the sports at a recreational and competitive level for fun, fitness and friendship
